A huge, gorgeous, one-of-a-kind vintage Victorian Style warm brass tone jewelry casket with thick beveled glass panels…
Richly detailed, this long jewelry casket is visually quite impressive!  It features an ornate floral motif showcasing brass metal roses & profuse greenery along the sides, top edges and feet, as well as five thick beveled glass panels (top, sides, front & back) which are anchored via an embossed brass tone frame.  The inside and bottom of the casket are lined with rich burgundy red crushed velvet, and this casket sits elevated on 4 sturdy, ornate little feet which are adorned with roses & greenery.  It is finished off with a little tab decorated with the recurring rose & greenery motif and it opens & closes the casket smoothly. This large casket has a beautiful, warm, rich patina that can only be achieved naturally over time, and for demonstration purposes, it is displayed housing collectible wax flowers to give you an idea of how your treasured keepsakes might look showcased in this trinket box…
Generously proportioned, measures overall ~11 inches long, ~4&5/8″ wide, ~4&5/8″ tall, and is finished all around.
In overall good-very good condition considering age with age-expected dustiness, soilage, very fine superficial scratches with patination and a few age-expected tiny spots along the finish.  The crushed velvet along the inside of the casket has a couple of breaks & spot which do not detract from the overall beauty of this piece.  Not uncommon to these old caskets, one of the beveled glass panels has a nipped edge which is not readily apparent unless being looked for.
